The Michigan Merit Exam (MME) "The Michigan Merit Exam (MME) is a test based on Michigan high school standards. This assessment will be given in April 2018 to all Michigan 11th-grade students and to eligible 12th-grade students. It will include the following three components:
- Michigan Student Test of Educational Progress (M-STEP)
- American College Testing (ACT) Work Keys - a job skills placement test that helps employers select, hire, train, develop and retain a high-performance workforce Scholastic Achievement Test (SAT) - a college entrance exam, developed by College Board, that replaces the ACT college entrance exam.
- Scholastic Achievement Test (SAT) - a college entrance exam, developed by College Board, that replaces the ACT college entrance exam.
- The M-Step will be administered online to Charlotte Senior High School students during the Spring 2018 testing window. The ACT Work Keys will be given on April 11, 2018, while the SAT will be administered statewide on April 10, 2018."
